The end of the year is a great time to reflect on our achievements and set new goals for the year ahead. It's also a chance to take some time off, recharge, and appreciate the journey we’ve shared. However, we understand the festive season isn’t always easy for everyone, especially if you’ve lost loved ones or experienced a traumatic event. We are here for you. Please email us if you have any comments or questions — we’d love to support you and your organization. |

Hot chocolate with marshmallows, presents, and cosy movie marathons are just one side of the festive season. For many, this time of year can also bring financial stress and mental health challenges. The cost of Christmas and money worries can significantly impact our well-being. Be kind to yourself by planning ahead. Start with a list of the people you want to gift and set a realistic budget. Explore local offers, events, and charity shops—you’ll be surprised by the wonderful finds there. Remember to set boundaries and don’t hesitate to say no to things that add to your stress. To escape the festive chaos, make time for activities that bring you peace: reading a good book with a cup of tea, painting, or picking up a new hobby. The season is a perfect opportunity for a day dedicated to self-care. Most importantly, know that you are not alone. If you’re struggling, let friends or family know how they can support you. Consider joining an online community where you can connect with people who share similar experiences. For more advice on managing your mental health during the festive season, visit MIND. |
