Welcome to the summer edition of the EF training newsletter.
This edition is all about the outdoors and our animal friends and how they can positively impact our well-being. Sometimes knowing that you are responsible for the welfare of another living thing be that a dog, fish or plant can be the thing that gets you out of bed, or off the sofa and motivates you to do something when you are feeling low.
“Nurturing something else into life has really helped my well-being. Gently caring for something helped me learn to care for myself.”
Being with animals also has numerous health benefits and we have included in this edition some of the science behind this as well as our own stories and a section on bees (which is a particular passion of Trudi's) along with some honey-related recipes. As always, we end with some good news and please take a moment to answer our poll.
Enjoy this summer edition and maybe try out some of the suggestions for spending time with nature.
Take good care of yourselves and keep being ‘responsibly selfish’.
We love to hear from you, so please do email us if you have any comments or questions, and feel free to share this newsletter with any friends and colleagues who might enjoy it too.
